Aerotek is in search of a Lithography Technician with a background in Glass Wafers to join a well-established company in Golden, CO. This is a 3-6 month contract opportunity. Please review the job description below and apply if interested.

Develop glass wafers and prisms through a micro-lithographic / photographic process.
Follow precision optical manufacturing practices and conduct a variety of inspection techniques to ensure in-process manufacturing methods result in products that meet customer requirements.
Assist in the preparation of glass substrates for coating by obtaining materials, chemicals and in-process glass substrates.Cleaning and conducting surface inspection of glass substrates.Depending upon the work station, processing and fabrication duties include:Performing spin-on and bake photo emulsion, photographing and developing mask aligned products using the appropriate chemical solutions.
Inspecting substrates and performing touch-up of pattern defects.
Inspecting coated wafers then soaking, taping, cleaning and scraping parts in preparation for additional coatings.
Uses various chemical etching processes (acid, metal, chrome, etc.) to ensure products meet customer specifications.
Following manufacturing processes and procedures by:
Safely handling and performing processes with hazardous chemicals and disposing of chemical waste within guidelines.
Maintains appropriate logs and providing oral and/or written reports of results.
Completing Non-Conforming Reports (NCR) and elevating quality concerns.
Operating within and maintaining cleanliness requirements of class 100 clean room.
Working independently and inspecting incoming materials and own work
Working as a team member demonstrating appropriate communication skills and interpersonal behaviors.
Understanding how individual performance impacts product quality, customer satisfaction and the Company’s ability to meet quality system standards.
Skills:
Ability to inspect optical components; dimensionally and visually.
Ability to perform detail oriented work for a majority of the workday.
Ability to read prints and interpret precise specifications.
