We are currently hiring experienced Electrician for an Overnight position in Kansas City, MO for a major national company! Our customer has been a well respected company in the Kansas City area for many years and offers excellent benefits upon hire! If you have the right experience, are able to work nights - 6pm-6am and have a flexible schedule we want to talk to you!
Job Description:
- Coordinate/complete all in-house electrical repairs and upgrades
- Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls/drives for limestone mine
- Actively research upgrades in automation and fine tuning of existing plant to improve safety, efficiencies, plant capacities and consistency
- Work closely with engineering and outside vendors to meet deadlines and complete projects
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required and 2 yr technical degree in electrical or comparable experience preferred
- Ability to travel within KC area
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Excellent vendor relation skills
- Must be willing to be On-Call
- Must have working knowledge of high voltage electrical systems
- Steel Toed Boots – Min 6in high lace ups
Ideal Candidates :
- Certified/licensed Electrician preferred
- 5 years experience in aggregates or similar preferred
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $22-24 hour
Shift: Overnights - 6pm-6am
