We seek an exceptional clinician with superior diagnostic and procedural skills, plus an appreciation of teamwork and professionalism.  The successful Physician candidate will be part of a team dedicated to improving the delivery and quality of health care that is patient-centered, safe and effective in a fast-paced environment. 


 


Primary Responsibilities



  • Examine, diagnose and treat patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses.

  • Perform cosmetic procedures.  Training will be provided.   

  • Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions, medical concerns, or health wellness.

  • Collects, records and maintains accurate patient information.  Documents items such as: appropriate chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan.

  • Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans.

  • Prescribes and administers medications, therapies, suturing and splinting.

  • Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow up.

  • Refers appropriate tertiary care to specialists or care facilities.

  • Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner within the electronic medical record.

  • Supervising assigned midlevel providers and nurses, will be responsible for reviewing quality of care and signing off on midlevel provider's and nurse's patient charts.

  • Work with the medical director to write clinical care protocols/processes, prepare presentation on healthcare related topics, train non-medical staff as needed, and participate in quality improvement and utilization management activities.

  • Work with the media/communication team to promote the clinic.


 

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.


  • 5 years post-residency experience ideal; urgent care and outpatient clinic experience preferred.


  • Active and unrestricted applicable state medical license


  • Current DEA certificate required


  • Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)


  • Effective communication skills


  • Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task


  • Takes Initiative, creative, has problem solving ability, is adaptable, and flexible.


  • Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.


  • Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming and professional public-facing appearance.


  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred.


Successful candidate must submit to TB testing and vaccinations required by company policy.
