The Banquet Manager is responsible for assuring the success of all banquet events both on and off-site, while maintaining a profitable operation and high quality and service levels. The Banquet Manager is expected to share ideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.
Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the hotel’s banquet operation both on and off-site.
Supervise all banquet personnel.
Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
Work with other Banquet Managers and keep them informed of issues as they arise.
Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring attention.
Monitor quality of service in Banquets.
Ensure preparation of required reports.
