PrideStaff Financial, a specialized Accounting and Financial staffing firm, seeks an Accounting Clerk for a well-established organization. PrideStaff Financial seeks a strong Accounting Clerk for this large organization on a long term temporary assignment. Pay of the position is based on experience - up to $13.00/hour. This assignment offers great experience for a great company.

Accounting Clerk

Job Responsibilities:

As the Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for assisting in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Daily you will be tasked with the following but not limited to:

Opening and sorting of all incoming mail – while separating invoices to the various department heads.

Auditing all Invoices received for accuracy of coding and allocation while entering them into the accounting system.

Batching and matching all the invoices/remittances for payments weekly.

Coding and posting checks into the system.

Administrative support to the Accounts Receivable Manager and Controller

Taking calls from customers and researching questions

Accounting Clerk



Job Requirements:

4 year Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 year Associates in Accounting/Business

10,000 kph+ 10-key data entry

Typing 50 wpm+

Strong Excel knowledge
