Cardiovascular Nurse - (Cardio - CVICU RN)

This Cardiovascualar Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) features the latest in cutting-edge technology in addition to an effective, compassionate patient care model. This environment is creative and patient-centric, as well as professionally rewarding. If you are ready to join a caring staff, and are an experienced, dedicated RN, this is the role for you!
Working in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), the cardiovascular nurse is responsible for administering care for patients following open-heart surgery. Considered to be the most highly specialized and critical intensive care unit, the CVICU is also sometimes responsible for the treatment and care of heart transplant patients.
Required Qualifications
OK license
2 year CVICU
ACLS, BLS

Widely held to be Southwestern Oklahoma's finest medical facility, this hospital is a 283-bed facility that has been serving residents of Lawton and beyond for over 60 years. The hospital is the frequent recipient of national awards for excellent service, including receiving the National Research Corporation's Consumer Choice Award for 2012/2013 and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma Champion of Children's Health Award Winner in 2006, among many others. The facility offers a full suite of services to its patients, including cancer care, neurosurgery, women's health, and rehabilitation services, among many others.
