We have a full-time opening for a Tooling Machinist / Tool Maker.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

Tooling Machinist / Tool Maker opening for well-established Tampa Bay company

We offer, 40 hour weeks, benefits and a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate. 1st shift, 7a-3:30p. Background check and drug screen required.

Manual and CNC Vertical Machines - capable of programming, machining and assembling fixtures - working from blueprints. Able to do own set ups as well.


Ability to plan, construct, design and/or alter a variety of machine tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, etc. from blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions.

  • Sets-up and operates tool room equipment, fixtures and attachments, including programming and operation of CNC equipment and demonstrates consistent optimum results
  • Fabricates/Assemble all tools, fixtures, gauges and other machined components to very close tolerances from blue prints, sketches or verbal instructions.
  • Assist setup personnel in the performance of test runs on tooling and makes any necessary alterations.
  • May utilize CAD to design/document simple fixtures and evaluate interference’s and functionality of designs.
  • Maintain quality compliance and have strong knowledge of GD&T
  • Ability to interact with engineers, programmers, machinists, assembly personnel and supervisors as required.
  • Ability to train others on similar.
