Description

Medline has an immediate opening for an Associate Product Manager focused on its Central Sterile Product Line. Located in our corporate office in Mundelein, this individual will assist the Sr. Product Manager to plan, organize, and control this growing product line from the conceptual stage through product life cycle to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and hard-working professional with a solid education or background in Marketing and/or Product Management and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

The challenging responsibilities of the position include:
  • Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies
  • Assist in development and launch of new products
  • Work closely with the Acute care and Non Acute care facilities and sales reps
  • Conduct training presentations to sales force and customers; create and update training material for sales reps Identify and implement product improvements
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional pieces and design packaging
  • Craft and deliver presentations to sales forces and customers
  • Perform market analyses to reveal new opportunities to expand the business
  • Work with Inventory Management and review daily supply chain reports to ensure service level goals are met
  • Keep and maintain accurate notes, progress reports, and analysis’s on current and potential business opportunities


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Two years previous experience with product management / marketing or sales is preferred
  • Clinical background /previous healthcare experience are preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, computer and follow-up skills required
  • Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive out of box thinker that must be able to take initiative and make difficult decisions
  • Travel required up to 50% of the time
