About this job
Well-established small company seeks bookkeeper/accountant to handle all aspects of clients’ day to day accounting functions. This individual will be responsible for general ledger, A/P, A/R, and fixed assets. This includes monthly and annual closing routines. In this key position, you will prepare journal entries and financial statements for CPA firm and client review; and assist accounting firm with tax forms. Company currently uses QuickBooks Online. You will be responsible for reconciling QuickBooks with the bank account on a monthly basis.
This position will assist with new accounts, working with financial institutions, merchant services, and related vendors. Handle miscellaneous day-to-day office needs and other projects as needed.
This position requires extensive accounting experience. This position also requires strong computer skills and detail allocation strongly desired. QuickBooks proficiency required, with QuickBooks certification strongly preferred. This person must have a strong understanding of accounting principles, including accrual based accounting.
