Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse - (Cath Lab RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $34.00 *
Welcome to this fantastic Cath Lab unit, where compassionate care meets top notch technology and innovative care teams bring the best of themselves to their patients. This unit is looking for an experienced and well regarded Cath Lab RN to join their dynamic team of care givers.
The role of the cardiac catheterization lab nurse (cath lab RN) is to administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart, identifying blockages, assisting the physician during procedures, and monitoring the patient’s status at other times. The cath lab nurse may also help administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures. Cath lab RNs must be highly specialized and work to stay abreast of the latest techniques in cardiac medicine.
Required Qualifications
1. 2 years exp.
2. ACLS
3. EKG Cert
4. NM or compact license

Known affectionately as the "City of Crosses," Las Cruces is the second largest city in New Mexico and a vibrant site of cultural production. Fans of the literary and performing arts flock to the city throughout the year to partake in its many festivals and events, including the Border Book Festival and the Day of the Dead Festival.
