Use your Sharp Analytical Skill to help us conduct and manage outcomes of various studies which include reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning! Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. Also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.


 


Responsibilities: 




  • Anticipates needs of data warehouse users and proactively develops solutions to meet them.


  • Advise the State staff of Medicaid and Health Care industry trends


  • Provide support to data warehouse users in developing reports


  • Ensure compliance with all data and information specifications


  • Ensure data integrity


  • Ensure quality of reporting


  • Provide context and meaning to data and information


  • Provide recommendations for the management and utilization of data and information


  • Perform QA and quality coordination

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




  • Two (2) years of Business Analysis experience for government or private sector health care data warehouses projects.


  • One (1) years' experience with health care data analysis and Medicaid management reports.


  • Effective communication and writing skills.


  • Bachelor's degree required.


  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required. 


  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:




  • Previous experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Cognos or Business Objects) and SQL.

  • Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes.


  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures.
