About this job



The Housekeeping position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hotel. More specifically, this person may partner with Housekeepers to remove linens, towels and trash in each room. In addition, this person will handle the delivery of extra linens and/or towels to guest rooms. This is a fast paced position.

Essential Functions:

 


  • Empty trash
  • Vacuum, sweep and/or mop walkways, stairwells, vending areas, foyers and lobbies.
  • Fulfill all guest requests, ironing boards, hairdryers, rollaways, cribs, etc.
  • Clean and remove spots from walls and doors.
  • Assure storage and linen rooms are in impeccable order for following morning.
  • Assure all glasses are washed for following morning.
  • Assist in loading of dirty linen for outside laundry service.
