Job Overview:
Macy's Logistics is currently seeking candidates for the position ofBaler Operator
Essential Functions:
- Inspect, sort and bale all waste cardboard and plastic
- Maintain balers and compactor clear of trash that can build up and create a malfunction
- Maintain the dock area (area surrounding baler).
- General Housekeeping
- Changing MHE Batteries
- Maintenance of the MHE Batteries
- Basic Maintenance of the MHE Battery changer.
- Daily operation of facility Sweeper
- General Maintenance and cleaning of Sweeper.
Qualifications:
Communication Skills
- Must possess good verbal communication skills
- Communicates with necessary contacts when bailers and compactors require cycling.
Reasoning Ability
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Demands
- Physical ability to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance and items heavier than 50 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance.
Other Skills
- Sense of Urgency
- Works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team.
