Traffic Coordinator

The traffic coordinator is responsible for routing all outbound shipments in an expeditious and cost effective manner, while in compliance with all governmental regulations. Responsibilities: *Schedule outbound shipments *Prepare all required documentation for both domestic and international shipments *Competency (through training and certification) in Dangerous Goods Regulations - CFR49(DOT), IATA, IMDG. *Familiarity with export documentation and terminology - Pro Forma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, NAFTA, INCO terms, Harmonized System of Codes (HS)/Schedule B *Obtain Freight quotes, as required *File damage/loss claims with carriers All other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Requirements: Able to Multi-task and with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment Must possess strong computer skills Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written Must possess strong organizational skills Ability to work in a team environment with Customer Service, Warehouse, Engineering
