Description

The MENTOR Network is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to assist and support the Senior Financial Analyst and the Director of Financial Reporting in the day today operations of the Financial Reporting group.

  • Collaborates with team members to prepare financial statements, tables, footnotes and analysis for the company's 10Q, 10K and other SEC filings. Ensures filings are accurate and submitted in a timely fashion.
  • Assists with quarterly preparation of earnings release andsupporting financial tables.
  • Performs review of the XBRL tagging to ensure accuracy andcompleteness
  • Prepares monthly investor and bankfinancial reporting packages
  • Supports internal and externalaudits by ensuring that all required documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Remains current on SEC and GAAP reporting requirements and pronouncements to ensure the company's accounting policies remain in compliance at all times, including summarizing new pronouncements and their potential impact on the company.
  • Assists in the coordination and review of the valuation process over equity units,business combinations, good will and intangible impairment assessment.
  • Prepares adhoc analyses using Oracle databases, Hyperion and Excel.
  • Drafts technical accounting position memos that support thecompany’s accounting conclusion on complex accounting transactions.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proactive and motivated work ethics.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proven ability to learn and perform in a fast pace environment.
