Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $29.00 - 34.00
This position is an opportunity for a qualified RN to join the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. This group of skilled physicians and nurses work to deliver compassionate care that benefits both mothers-to-be and their newborns in a cheerful and comforting environment. As an part to this elite team, you can expect to work with fully equipped birthing rooms and the latest in obstetric techniques.
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in L&D
MA license, BLS, and AWHONN Intro to Fetal Monitoring Online Course Required
