Certified Home Health Aides - Live In - Full-time / Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate certified home health aides live in's to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

As a live in home health aide you will reside in the client's home on either a short term or long term basis. Assignments could run as short as 1 (24 hour period) or could last several months. This will be determined according to your client's needs as well as your availability.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming, bathing, and dressing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s Care

Requirements to be a Certified Home Health Aide Live In:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• It is highly desirable, and adds to your marketability, if you possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance. Given the nature of the job, if you do not possess these items, special accommodations can be arranged.
