Cashier

Approximately 6 people came — 5 relatives and the mailman. And while it was slow going at first, word started to spread that there was something a little bit different about California Tortilla. Because while we prided ourselves on having the freshest, darn tastiest Mexican Food around, we also prided ourselves on having spunky cashiers, and promotions like Jungle Noise Day and Pop Tart Day.

Crew Member

Position Summary:

Crew Members provide customers with prompt and friendly service. They help increase store sales by proper use of selling techniques. They are also responsible for the stocking of front-end supplies, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment and surfaces in the service area. They will also contribute to the maintenance of overall facility (restrooms, customer sales area, outside) as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Acts in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner toward customers and co=-workers at all times.
• Exerts high degree of energy and drive to meet customer demands.
• Ability to communicate viewpoints and concerns to fellow employees and managers in a constructive manner.
• Follow all cash register and cash handling systems to ensure the accuracy of all register and cash transactions.
• Responsible for stocking food and paper supplied in service area.
• Performs effectively and safely in an environment where there is constant change and minimal direct supervision.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school graduate
• Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of employees.
• Highly organized energetic, team oriented individual with a positive “can –do” attitude and a strong commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Ability to multitask while serving customers

Physical Requirements:

Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
