About this job
A local manufacturing company is looking for a full-time warehouse employee to start immediately. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Receiving and stocking inventory
* Pulling orders and shipping (UPS small packages and freight shipments)
* Warehouse cleaning/organization/ disposing of trash
* Inventory Counting / Bin Organization Ensures that company warehouses are clean and organized regularly.
* Ensure that all stock levels are the maintained in the main warehouse
* Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
* Accurately picking and packing orders for shipment.
* Pack items for shipment, this may include building crates, using foam machine, using bubble wrap.
* Makes sure that stock allocations are set aside for larger orders.
* Routinely stock shelves with company product
* Unpack monthly container shipments and organize product in warehouse
* Coordinate outbound container shipments
* Ensure that stock sent out and allocated is tracked and updated accurately to the inventory on a daily basis
* Responsible for receiving and checking all shipments that come through the back door
* Must forward paperwork for shipments to the correct department confirming that shipment was correct or incorrect.
* Makes sure all departments have required supplies
* Use FEDEX and UPS shipping systems to send and trace shipments.
* All other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
* Forklift certification a plus
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
* Computer experience is a must.
* Must have forklift experience
Starting Minimum Pay $8.50/hour
This is a seasonal position with employment through August.
Benefits available after 60 days (holiday pay, vacation, and health care)
Starting Hours M-F 8am to 5pm (40 hours)
