Floating General Manager

This position is intended to be temporary until placed in a permanent unit, permanent General Manager salaries range from $37,000-$63,000 annually depending on store sales and bonuses. 

Floating General Managers operate and /or partner with the General Manager at the unit he or she is assigned, to direct, manage and assist store level employees, including all hourly management. They are also responsible for the overall operations of the store. These duties include but are not limited to merchandising, customer service, human resources, food service, promotions and operations of the store. 

• Expert in customer service representatives’ duties and responsibilities.
• Great leadership and management skills.
• Prior retail experiences a plus.
• Must be able to handle a fast past and be able to multi task.
• Oversee training of store employees; assuring training is thorough and up to date.
• Addresses issues at store level to assure effective and long-term problem resolution.
• Follow up with store employees on communications and directives.
• Responsible for Merchandising - including displays, pricing, promotional signage.
• Promote excellent customer service; assuring customers’ needs are being met courteously.
• Enforces all federal and state laws that apply to the business. 
• Oversee food operation.
• Responsible for P&L statements.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

• Able to pass a drug screen
• A valid driver's license
• The ability to complete this employment application process

• The ability to read, write, understand and speak English
• Be able to hear the spoken word
• Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
