Production Supervisor

Direct Hire production supervisor position.North of Tulsa. 5+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.Must have experience working as a fitter/welder in a code shop:ASME experienceESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH MINIMAL ASSISTANCE:1.Production Supervisor is responsible for safely meeting or exceeding scheduled labor hours in all areas assigned by assigning daily tasks according to the production scheduling.2.Monitor and track productivity efficiency per employee.3.Fully understand production schedules and process flow.4.Continuously identifies and reduces waste in all areas assigned to him using Lean Principals. 5.Support production activities by reviewing drawings and checking on the status of materials and drawings, as well as assisting the hands-on department Leads with paperwork and other management functions as needed.6.Plans ahead to ensure his employees have the drawings and material needed to accomplish the tasks assigned on time.7.Develops recovery plans when off schedule to get job back on schedule. The plan isReviewed/approved by the Plant Superintendent and implemented by Supervisor. 8.Records, analyzes and reports data to be used in production decision making.9.Continuous improvement to reduce manufacturing costs in his areas.10.Assumes a strong leadership role in safety and environmental awareness. 11.Along with Supply Chain Management, assists the Shop Superintendent in managing to ensure necessary supplies and spare parts are available for all production related activities.12.Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within job scope.13.Responsible for all actions/responsibilities as described in company controlled documentation for this position and pertaining to the company handbook. Salary $55K+
