As a .Net Applications Developer, you will be predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. You will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. The Application Developer will assist in the development projects across UHCI platforms. This person main job will be as a .net developer but also including but not limited to: technical lead, systems analyst, .net developer and collaborating with business partners to build great solutions. This position must also have excellent communication skills to work with our  off-shore development partners. Responsibilities will span technical planning and execution along with being partner to the business and helping the development team grow for the future.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain .Net applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
  • Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
  • Identify production and non-production application issues
  • Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .Net developed projects
  • Provide technical support and consultation for .Net application and infrastructure questions
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced developers

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience
  • 2+ years of experience working as a .Net developer
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack including .net, SQL Server and IIS
  • Knowledge of HTML (including HTML5) and CSS
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and popular libraries like jQuery and Knockout.js
  • Knowledge of API design and a history of building solutions from API documentation
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC 4
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active participation in open source projects through Git, CodePlex, etc?
  • History of technical communication such as writing or presentation
  • Knowledge
    of a wide array of development technologies such as Web Development,
    Desktop Development, or Mobile Development
  • Health care industry experience
