The Application Developer will assist in the development projects across UHCI platforms. This person main job will be as a .net developer but also including but not limited to: technical lead, systems analyst, .net developer and collaborating with business partners to build great solutions. This position must also have excellent communication skills to work with our off-shore development partners. Responsibilities will span technical planning and execution along with being partner to the business and helping the development team grow for the future.

- Design, implement and maintain .Net applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
- Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
- Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
- Identify production and non-production application issues
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .Net developed projects
- Provide technical support and consultation for .Net application and infrastructure questions
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced developers
- Strong technical knowledge in design patterns, .net development and web development
- Ability to adapt to new situations, changing priorities and new applications
- Ability to grow knowledge on a topic with minimal direction given
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Ability to work in highly diversified teams with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to anticipate and communicate potential problems while determining solutions
- Must have the ability to work under pressure but continue to think clearly and provide support or guidance to team members during difficult processes and schedules
- Must be able to collaborate as a team player in a highly matrixed environment with various project participants onshore and offshore.
- Demonstrate ability to lead, influence and motivate staff members inside the development team and outside the development team.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience
- 2+ years of experience working as a .Net developer
- Knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack including .net, SQL Server and IIS
- Knowledge of HTML (including HTML5) and CSS
- Knowledge of JavaScript and popular libraries like jQuery and Knockout.js
- Knowledge of API design and a history of building solutions from API documentation
- Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC 4
- Active participation in open source projects through Git, CodePlex, etc?
- History of technical communication such as writing or presentation
- Knowledge
of a wide array of development technologies such as Web Development,
Desktop Development, or Mobile Development - Health care industry experience
