Kids Developmental Gymnastics Instructor - Part-time

An ideal candidate is energetic, responsible, positive and passionate about working with children. Communicating with parents is also a must! Most The Little Gym Instructors have a hard time sitting at a desk, or even in class - they'd rather be on their feet and moving. As a team member at The Little Gym, you can harness that energy with a fast, upbeat and continually changing job working with kids and their parents.

This is a part-time or full-time career level position and general responsibilities include:

• Teaching amazing classes
• Providing outstanding customer service
• Selling the program to new and existing customers
• Ensuring program quality

Qualifications NEEDED:

• Upbeat, optimistic, passionate, friendly, authentic and fun
• Excellent team player, and ability to work independently.
• Proactive and solution-oriented.
• Responsible and dependable.
• Preferred knowledge and involvement in gymnastics, and/or other fitness, health or sports activities.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback.

Preferred -- 1-3 year's work experience in retail sales, education, and/or customer service

For 40 years The Little Gym has set the standard for progressive motor-skill development, by providing children with a foundation of confidence through non-competitive, gymnastics-based programs. Our Parent/Child, Pre-K and Grade School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and will possess superior time management skills. A background in child development, physical education and/or gymnastics is certainly a plus and evening and weekend hours are required.
