ComForcare Senior Services of Lower Bucks County is seeking to fill the following position in their Langhorne, PA office:

Experienced Home Care Recruiter / Human Resources

ComForcare Senior Services provides in-home assistance with activities of daily living for seniors and individuals of all ages through its franchised offices throughout the United States. These services include Alzheimer’s/dementia care, Personal Care, Surgery/Cancer Recovery, Respite Care for Families, Help with pets, light housekeeping, companionship and much more. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from experienced, bonded and insured caregivers.

Requirements:

 

1.                  Compliance with ComForcare bonding criteria

2.                  Eighteen years of age or older, with U.S. citizenship and/or equivalent employment eligibility authorization

3.                  Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, co-workers and all supervisors

4.                  High school diploma.  Associate or Bachelor's degree strongly recommended

5.                  At least 3 years experience in administrative capacities, with experience relevant to human resources and recruitment, customer service, and computer operation.  Extensive experience in the home care field considered in lieu of other experience

6.                  Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines

 

 

Routine Duties:

 

1.    Employee Recruitment.  ComForcare strives to match only the highest quality employees with each client.  Therefore, this position is involved in the screening, interviewing, processing, and orientation of employees.  This position will coordinate ongoing needs for employees with designated staff on a weekly basis, and develop unique and creative approaches to recruit new staff, including attendance at and coordination of job fairs.

a.      Caregiver Recruitment

·   Assist with running ads as needed

·   Perform pre-screen phone interviews

·   Schedule & perform interviews

·   Make copies of all necessary documents

·   Check references

b.      Run Weekly Orientations

·         Make copies of all necessary documents and create employee badge

·         Show appropriate videos

·         Review employee handbook

·         Answer all questions, ensuring caregivers understand policies and procedures

·         Assist caregivers in filling out necessary paperwork

2.    Employee retention.  Responsible for tracking trends in employee retention, performing exit interviews, and identifying techniques to improve/maintain retention rates.

3.    Assist with maintaining quality assurance / quality management procedures through updates of documentation within employee and client files (and within the company software package).  Goal of achieving 100% accuracy in maintenance of records.

4.    Assist Managing HealthManager (company software package)

a.      Enter new caregiver information

b.      Enter notes in HealthManager regarding updates on caregivers

5.    Perform QA calls to Caregivers:

a.      1 day after new case

b.      1 week after new case

c.       3 weeks after new case

d.      Monthly thereafter

6.    Assist with Scheduling supervisory visits; utilize HealthManager to determine when visits need to occur

7.    Assist with caregiver yearly evaluations and caregiver discipline

8.    Assist designated staff with unemployment and Workers’ Compensation claims

9.    Assist with Payroll:

a.      Organize weekly Flowsheets & Narratives

b.      Enter corresponding information in to company software package

10.              Assist Scheduler with maintaining a consistent schedule for clients:

a.      Help handle emergency call offs

b.      Help fill open shifts

c.       Accommodate client/family requests with recruitment

d.      Accommodate caregiver schedules

e.      Help Have all open shifts for the following day staffed by the end of each day

f.        Help udate caregivers with new client information

11.              Primary telephone and reception duties, check phone messages on a routine basis
