Banquet Captain - Part-time

The Banquet Captain is responsible for: training and directing the banquet staff in servicing all banquet activities in order to ensure a successful function and repeat business. Requirements include: comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparations; service standards; guest relations and etiquette; and knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local health and safety regulations.

The part-time banquet captain is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by coordinating banquet functions in accordance with hotel standards. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of banquet functijons by coordinating and providing work direction for banquet personnel. The part-time banquet captain works closely with the kitchen to coordinate cooking, food presentation and delivery times for each function. They are also responsible for providing employees with the information needed to perform their job effectively.
