General Manager - Full-time / Part-time

A manager is an example of good attitudes, words, and actions . A leader with clear goals, accountability, performance and commitment along with the ambition and ability to fulfill those goals . A person who is both task- and team-oriented, managing people and processes with concern and expertise.

As a manager, you face many demands ranging from maintaining smooth operations to keeping employees and customers happy.  Your response to the daily challenges will have a positive or negative impact on the morale and productivity of the store.                                     

JOB SUMMARY:

General Manager

Responsible for all aspects of the locations during all hours of operation; responsible for maintaining the business Philosophy and operating standards, implementing company policies, maximizing sales and income, and for representing the Brands Mission and Philosophy to its customers, employees, and community.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager is responsible for supervising all Assistant Managers, Shift Managers, and Crew members.

QUALIFICATIONS

In addition to the personal traits required of all employees (positive, teachable, outgoing), must have demonstrated leadership and organizational ability, plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Must have high personal standards and motivation, and display a capacity for problem-solving, personal growth, the ability to understand and work with moderately complex financial information and statistics. Basic math skills, reading and writing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with a calculator, POS systems, Excel & Word, email and Internet are essential.  Must have dependable transportation and a telephone.  Must be at least 18 years old with a successful track record running similar QSR for at least three (3) years.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB

Must be able to perform the tasks outlined above ("Essential Duties"); must be able to stand for long periods, work with agility, and occasionally work long hours; must be able to see, hear, and speak (for communication and safety); must be able to test products by taste, color, and smell; must be able to manage occasional periods of stress with composure and control; must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
