Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promote HEW Tobacco Cessation Program both in clinic
    and worksite locations.  Main duties
    consist of all TCP scheduling duties, processing medication requests,
    facilitating at both clinic and worksite orientations and program events.
  • Enroll members into the Tobacco Cessation Program.
  • Assist and support the Tobacco Cessation Program
    counselors. Build and maintain counselor schedules and calendars.
  • Train new scheduling staff to the Tobacco Cessation
    Program.
  • Main duties include contacting and scheduling members
    referred to the Tobacco Cessation Program, travel to and facilitate TCP
    orientations, assist with program events both clinic and worksite, in
    addition to enrolling members into the program. 
  • Duties include processing medication requests, tasking
    providers, submitting authorizations to and reconciling excel spreadsheets
    with Pharmacy Services.  Contacting
    pharmacies to assist with medication authorization process.
  • Responsible for building and
    maintaining TCP counselor schedules and calendars.  Document cancellations, reschedules,
    reminder calls, information sent and schedule changes. Coordinate group
    coverage, when needed, with contract counselors.
  • Work closely with Customer Service
    Supervisor and report and resolve member/ patient or health educator
    satisfaction issues.
  • Data entry duties include entering
    data into HEW and TCP databases,  IDX
    computer systems to facilitate recordkeeping and data tracking for reports
    and projects.
  • Phone call duties to include incoming
    and outgoing calls for scheduling, reminders, follow-up and rescheduling
    members/ patients into consults and classes.
  • Train new scheduling staff to the
    Tobacco Cessation Program.

Requirements

Requirements:



  • High School diploma/ GED required
  • 2+ years experience in a scheduling or call center
    environment required. 
  •      
  • 2+ years in a business environment dealing with the
    public

Assets:

  • 2+ years in a medical clinic setting or related business
    preferred.
