 Primary Responsibilities:  




  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various functional areas. Typically, employees in this function are working towards or have achieved certification in project management



  • Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques



  • Makes presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results



  • Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope



  • May manage vendor and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations



  • Previous experience in a large, complex managed care and/or insurance organization strongly desired



  • Demonstrated experience leading people and large project teams



  • Operations and IT program management background required



  • Track record of implementing complex initiatives with increased responsibility and accountability.   Hands-on experience managing all aspects of large scale business transformation and technology programs including , stakeholder mgmt., CBA development, financial management, operational readiness and value realization plans.   Resource must be comfortable forging a path through ambiguity and competing stakeholder priorities



  • Strong communication skills are a must with frequent report-outs to executives and stakeholders



  • Demonstrated success in strategic decision making which includes stakeholder sign off



  • Experience with hands-on management of multiple projects is required 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Big 4 Consulting Experience (Consultant through Sr. Mgr)

  • Health care experience (10 yrs +)

  • Experience working in a national or global company

  • Hands on Mgmt of PMO office required

  • Undergraduate required, MBA preferred

 


Preferred Qualifications:



  • PMI certification helpful but not required
