SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Service Assistant Manager assists the Center Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of a Just Brakes Automotive Service Center, and performs the duties and responsibilities of Center Manager in the absence of the Manager; providing leadership to Center personnel. Inspects, tests, and/or performs diagnostic work on customer vehicles to determine the costs of needed repairs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overall management of Center; including hiring, training, managing and directing the daily activities of Center employees and providing input in the evaluation of their work performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A strong, demonstrated knowledge of general shop procedures and overall production requirements in a Just Brakes Service Center.
- Experience managing and directing the work of two or more employees.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to add and subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Must have dependable transportation to work.
