Retail Store Manager - Full-time

Plato’s Closet® is now hiring a talented, energetic store manager for our location in Fort Smith, Arkansas. We are looking for an experienced manager who loves fashion!

 DESCRIPTION

Leadership

• Model appropriate selling and customer service skills


• Ensure that all sales associates understand and support the pursuit of superior customer service


• Recruit, train, manage, and evaluate a team of 10-15 motivated sales associate

Operations

• Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards


• Manage inventory levels to maximize seasonal sell through and profitability


• Maintain knowledge of current fashions to ensure inventory mix matches customer expectations

 

 Performance

• Lead the sales team to exceed sales goals


• Maintain all controllable expenses within established budgetary guideline

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School or equivalent degree


• College degree preferred


• At least 2 years of retail management experience preferably in similar merchandise lines


• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and time management skills
