Packaging Line Lead
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the Packaging Supervisor on the packaging lines. This position must have a thorough understanding of the processes within the lines and can readily give guidance to employees regarding packaging procedures.
Organizational Status:
This position reports to the Packaging Supervisor. This position may interact with the client, Ryder managers and employees.
Work Performed:
1. Monitor employee performance on the packaging lines
2. Report end of line data/results (downtime, KPI's)
3. Ensure all raw material is pulled for running the lines
4. Disposition all unused items at end of line runs
5. Attend daily production meetings
6. May perform back-up supervisory tasks in absence of the Packaging Supervisor
7. Need to fill out all legal documents properly
8. Ensure production lines are meeting there hourly goals
9. Make sure all procedures are being followed

This position is located in the warehouse and requires the use of steel-toed shoes.
Qualifications & Skills:
* EDUCATION - Minimum High School Diploma or GED
* EXPERIENCE - 1 to 2 years experience in logistics, transportation, leadership, warehouse, or industry related field is required.
* SKILLS - Detail-Oriented, Organization, Interpersonal, Written and Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office, Excel and basic computer skills preferred.
