Sales Associate/Assistant Store Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Living Proof is seeking Retail Sales Associates to join the Living Proof family. The retail sales associate role will participate in the opening and day to day oversight for our headquarters-based retail space. The incumbent(s) will work towards the goal of maximizing retail sales through consultative selling, merchandising techniques and customer service. She/he possesses a complete understanding of company policies, philosophy and vision. This is a part time (20-24 hours per week) position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Greet and make a connection with customers
* Cultivate a relationship with customers by asking questions, listening to customer needs, and giving options and advice on meeting those needs
* Follow company policies and utilize sound judgment to resolve customer concerns; handle all returns courteously and professionally
* Maintain selling floor presentations, and restocking and re-merchandising them as needed.
* Ensure merchandise is on the floor within 24 hours of receipt, in a well organized and easy to shop manner.
* Partner across the organization to achieve or exceed salon sales goals.
* Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm
* Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
* Understand Living Proof's unique offering of retail products and services to be able to recommend the right products through a Hair Diagnostics evaluation.Develop product knowledge in order to understand Living Proof's unique offering of products and then discuss options with our customers
* Be aware of current promotional events and sales
* Maintain good housekeeping standards
* Perform other duties as assigned

* Demonstrate organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow-through on tasks and projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* 3-5 years retail sales experience preferred
* Proficient with technology, including: Microsoft Office, Square/credit card processing.
* Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and employees at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities in complicated situations -- take charge attitude
* Responsible and resourceful in finding answers and solutions when information and data is not readily available
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* High energy and good interpersonal skills
* Good organizational skills with a great deal of attention to detail
* Demonstrates proper telephone etiquette.
* Ability to successfully complete basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios.
