Primary Responsibilities: 




  • Interact with senior population and conduct presentations within community (i.e., senior groups, churches, homes, etc.) to sell and promote Medicare product 

  • Travel throughout an assigned territory and work directly with community based organizations, providers, and other sources to obtain referrals

  • Manage your travel and territory efficiently to produce maximum results

  • Meet with eligible participants with the goal of enrollment and presenting product information

  • Generate own leads - some sales leads are company provided

  • Execute excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

  • Apply strong sales acumen skills in generating and closing leads

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years selling Medicare Advantage or Medicaid/Medicare Dual Eligible products 

  • 3+ years outside sales and territory management experience 

  • Have established professional contacts or is active within community (i.e. providers, religious/ community based organizations, etc.) 

  • Active New York life/accident & health license

  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within assigned local territory

  • Live within a commutable distance of the location listed for this specific career opportunity

  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bilingual

  • Marketing and community relations experience
