Full Time applicants are required to have an open availability Monday - Saturday, between the primary operating hours of 8pm – 9am. Full time employees are typically scheduled a minimum of 40 hours/week, including weekends to meet business needs. Our existing stores experience busy sales patterns on the weekends. All hourly employees will earn time and one-half on Sunday.

- The grand opening of the new Westwood store will be in Fall 2015

- The Westwood store will operate 6 am to Midnight, 7 days per week

A glimpse at the job:

Our Overnight team members are the night owls behind the scenes playing an integral role supporting the store's daytime operations by making sure shelves, coolers, freezers and displays are stocked and well merchandised for business. Team members work diligently together, unloading and breakdown deliveries to ensure the department is prepared for the next day.

Customer service team members work closely with the team stocking, refilling and rotating items on shelves, unloading deliveries, and breaking down skids, maintaining an organized workspace and ensure product levels are maintained and aisles are kept in pristine shopping condition for our customers.

What abilities must I bring to the table to be considered:
  • Possess organizational skills, prioritizing requests and department activities while managing interruptions and attending to details to complete tasks within deadlines
  • Properly handle, prepare, and transport store products, ensuring food and human safety practices are strictly adhered to
  • Recognize and seek opportunities for continuous learning to gain new understandings, skills, and knowledge
  • Utilize resources to educate self and others about product uses and characteristics, being sure to share acquired product knowledge
  • Possess teamwork and diversity awareness by listening to others' points of view and recognizing and appreciating differences.

Overnight Team Leaders

Overnight team leaders assist the department manager and manage the department in his/her absence, to ensure the department is running smoothly and products are available for customers. Team Leaders are given the opportunity to work closely with employees; leading them by example when completing tasks, delegating responsibilities and empowering their growth and professional development.

Overnight Operations generally include the following areas:

Qualifications / Work Environment
  • Work including kneeling, frequent heavy lifting, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching
  • Responsible for moving and lifting 20-50 pounds of product on a frequent basis with an occasional need to lift over 50 pounds
  • May be exposed to various allergens
  • Will spend the majority of time on his/her feet and stand or walk without a break for up to 4 hours
  • Days/Hours Requirement: Full Time applicants are required to have an open availability Sunday-Saturday between the primary operating hours of 8pm and 9am, unless specified for a position/department. Full time employees work a minimum of 40 hours/week, in 8 hour intervals, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs. Weekend availability is required.
