Position Description:
Provide daily
Production support of UHG Applications and automated systems including
schedulers, application utilities, interactive jobs, EDI scripts, B2B
connections and other associated production routines. Assist Support department with application
level issues, job status details, scheduling issues and changes in accordance
with internal change control processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Manage production system of real-time interactive apps including resetting jobs, password changes, viewing remote screen window sessions to ensure processing, adjusting schedulers, and responding to Support inquiry in timely fashion
- Monitor and manage EDI jobs, scripts, utilities, processing and file system sweep functions to ensure job processing (AM or EOD depending on shift)
- Monitor many email alerts and status messages and respond and escalate according to priority
- Continuous learning of Billing applications and production workflow, production mechanics, job schedulers, ActiveBatch, claim workflows, and support of internal apps to further support UHG, Product, and department initiatives.
- Periodic after hours production support for scheduled maintenance routines, quarterly system updates and patches, and other items that affect operations.
Best candidates will have experience in a change managed environment, where they are not authorized to make system changes to Production.
This work is expected to be early morning shift
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED
- 3+ years experience with Windows
2003-2012 networking environment environment supporting applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- SQL experience
- PervasiveSQL experience
- IIS experience
- Healthcare EDI experience
- Secure FTP experience
- Terminal emulators experience
- Production scheduling tools like ActiveBatch V9, batch and scripting languages, Windows Terminal Services, command line utilities, and supporting proprietary custom internal applications is desired.
