As a Fundraiser, you will bring awareness to the public on community development, sponsorship and helping end poverty.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian aid organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. As a Fundraiser, you will be advising the public that by partnering with the child, their family, neighbours and local leaders they can transform a struggling community into one that is sustainable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Approach, engage and educate the public on World Vision Sponsorship while maximizing customer service
* Acquire new Child Sponsors while outlining World Vision's global impact
* Communicate information to the public and answer any questions/inquiries
* Meet daily targets set out by Supervisor

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell a story
* Resilient with the ability to handle rejection
* Results-oriented and comfortable in achieving targets
* Organized, punctual and a positive work attitude
* Highly energetic, motivated and personable
* Passionate about helping others and making a difference
* Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Previous experience in Retail/Customer Service/Sales is an ASSET
* Must have experience with an emphasis on face-to-face customer service
* Must be able to work flexible hours; including weekends & holidays
* Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time
* Must be willing to travel to various mall locations across Los Angeles
* Interested in current and worldly events
* Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license
* Must be able to provide a clean criminal background check
