Catering Coordinator

The Four Points by Sheraton Richmond on Midlothian Turnpike is seeking an experienced Catering Coordinator. This position is responsible for clerical and administrative duties, marketing materials and other duties to assist in the smooth operation of our Catering Department. This position is also to provide support to the Catering Team, assist in site inspections, follow up on Catering Inquiries and enhancing overall customer service to all guests.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• ISAC or Delphi data input
• Preparing bookings recaps, contracts, catering event orders, proposals and cost estimates
• Maintaining trace files
• Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) as per client needs
• At least 2 years Hotel Experience or related field required, Starwood experience preferred

• be flexible in scheduling
• maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
• be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written
• be able to multitask and prioritize in order to meet departmental deadlines
• effective in handling problems including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving
• be organized, attention to detail and time management skills
