The Restaurant Area offered at select Wegmans stores allows customers to experience a one-of-a-kind, dynamic eatery in a Pub environment, or enjoy delicious prepared foods from departments, such as Coffee, Pizza, Subs, Sushi and other café offerings from areas including the Wokery, Fresh Foods Bar, etc. Our employees are empowered to provide incredible customer service and an engaging dining and pub experience through creating an exciting atmosphere.

Customer Service

As a customer service team member, you will work hands on with our product while providing direct interaction with our customers. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with our customers while share knowledgeable service about our restaurant products.

Customer Service positions include: Coffee Shop, Sub Shop, Pizza Shop, Catering, and Prepared Foods

Server/Bartender

As a server, you will assist in supporting the entire restaurant operations while focusing on demonstrating exceptional people skills, food knowledge and service techniques, while as a bartender you will combine an ability to provide incredible service with your knowledge of beverage preparation as you fill drink orders for guests.

What abilities I must bring to the table to be considered:
  • In addition to Incredible Customer Service, successful applicants will possess one or more of the following:
  • Experience working as a server, bartender, or other service-oriented position in a multi-faceted food service facility, including restaurant, hotel, country club, conference center, casino, theme park, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage (including beer, liquor and wine) and their pairings
  • Certification of training in liquor, wine, food service and/ or alcohol awareness programs


Team Leader

Team leaders are found in each department of the store. Whether overseeing a smaller department independently or assisting a department manager in a larger department, TLs all work closely with team members to develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide incredible customer service. They work to ensure products are available for customers, and displays are well merchandised and eye appealing. TLs lead employees by example to complete tasks in the department and best serve the needs of the customer and the store.

Team Leader positions include: Coffee Shop, Sub Shop, and Pizza Shop





What abilities I must bring to the table to be considered:
  • In addition to Incredible Customer Service, successful applicants will possess one or more of the following:
  • Managerial/supervisory experience
  • Food preparation experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce quality products with speed and accuracy


Restaurant Service Team Leader

As the Restaurant Service Team Leader, you will work closely with employees and be empowered to provide incredible customer service and an engaging dining and pub experience through creating an exciting atmosphere and providing the tools, resources and support for service staff to grow their skills, passion and knowledge.

  • Experience leading a team in a multi-faceted food service facility, including restaurant, hotel, country club, conference center, casino, theme park, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage (including beer, liquor and wine) and their pairings
  • Certification of training in liquor, wine, food service and/or alcohol awareness programs


Restaurant Manager

As the Restaurant Manager, you'll combine your passion for incredible service and knowledge of the food industry along with strong managerial and leadership skills to execute the innovative plans for the Market Café and The Pub areas, ensure productive and profitable area operations and work towards achieving their overall success.

What abilities I must bring to the table to be considered:
  • In addition to Incredible Customer Service, successful applicants will possess one or more of the following:
  • Experience leading large teams in a multi-faceted food service facility, including restaurant, hotel, country club, conference center, casino, theme park, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage (including beer, liquor and wine) and their pairings
  • Certification of training in liquor, wine, food service and/or alcohol awareness programs
  • Experience working in an event planning or catering role


Work Environment:
  • Work involves continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment
  • Typical motions include repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching
  • Responsible for moving and lifting an average of 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely
  • May be exposed to various allergens and work environments, including temperature changes
  • Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, ovens, stoves and other hot equipment; cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Will be required to spend the majority of time on his or her feet and stand or walk without a break for up to 4 hours
