The Recovery/Resolution Associate is a
support role within our subrogation and payment recovery operations.
This role is responsible for gathering and organizing information to set
up cases for multi-payer claims for the analyst team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Review pended claims for subrogation potential 
  • Review policy language for exclusions and process denials if needed
  • Place outbound calls to other insurance carriers, attorneys and members to obtain necessary information for case setup
  • Take inbound calls (5 - 20/day) from providers, attorneys, members and other business teams
  • Manage a work queue and prioritize daily activities
  • Analyze and identify trends and provides reports as necessary
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance

Requirements

Requirements:
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Working Hours M-F 8a-4:30p
  • 2+ years experience in an office setting using a phone and computer
  • 1+ year customer service experience
  • Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel
  • Moderate proficiency with computer and Windows PC
    applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex
    computer system applications
Preferred skills/experience:
  • Experience in claims recovery and resolution
  • Experience in any of these areas: health insurance, insurance billing, property & casualty, auto insurance, workers
    compensation, law firm, or subrogation
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to navigate a computer while speaking on the phone
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse
