Marketing Internship- Seasonal - Part-time

Kings Island is now accepting applications in our Marketing Department.   Now is the time to get your application submitted so that you can be one of the first to be interviewed in 2017!

The 2017 season promises to be one of the best, with the addition of our new wooden coaster, Mystic Timbers!  Do you know what’s in the shed?  The 2017 season will also bring back Winterfest.   These new attractions, and more, await you during your season at Kings Island.   

Did you know that the Marketing Department can offer internship opportunities?  We offer limited opportunities for Marketing Interns as well as Social Media Interns.   If you are interested, please complete the application online and upload your resume. The Marketing team is looking for outgoing individuals who can work both independently and as a team. The Marketing & Group Sales positions allow associates to play an integral part of the department, gaining knowledge and on the job training while learning how the Midwest’s largest amusement park and water park remains a staple in fun. Associates will gain knowledge in executing park events, group sales, marketing promotions and networking.

Some of the essential functions include:

• Greets guests, answers questions, ensures quality service, and resolves complaints for guests
• Performs various market research duties as needed
• Assists with major promotional events
• Assists in receiving and making calls on a multi-line phone
• Supports Group Sales staff with execution of picnics, outings and special events
• Assists with execution of season pass promotions
• Markets and promotes Kings Island and Halloween Haunt at various offsite events
• Writes, edits and distributes media materials
