Senior IT Systems Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst for our Eden Prairie, Minnesota location to lead functional walk-thru sessions with the business, including project presentations. Analyze, study and development of program modifications and new functionality enhancements to interface Optum ERP with third party software which requires research and design specifications to improve the overall Quote-to-Cash business process. Provide PeopleSoft functional subject matter expertise and lead business users through entire systems development lifecycle. Understanding of the change control principles and working in a cross site environment when making system changes and modifications. Provide support to interface and conversion activities as required. Cross functional experience with other PeopleSoft Financials Modules. Configure the PeopleSoft system to meet each client's unique business requirements. Ability to explain critical integration intra- and inter touch-points of the respective application and module, Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conduct presentations, and advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems. Participate as a Liaison with Delivery and Support organization. Report progress to clients and project managers. Experience with conducting fit/gap analysis, design, configuration and testing of one or more Quote to Cash Solution modules. Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft solutions. Analyzing, studying and developing program modifications and new functionality enhancements to interface with ERP software to research and design specifications to improve the overall Quote-to-Cash business process. Understanding of data models and key tables in PeopleSoft Financial Modules. Experience upgrading end-to-end financial implementations.  Understanding of setup tables, reporting and integration of all PeopleSoft Contract, Order Management, Inventory, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, and GL modules. Understanding of the change control principles and working in a cross site environment when making system changes and modifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.


• 2 years related experience. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's degree.


• Must have demonstrated experience with 1) Analyzing, studying and developing program modifications and new functionality enhancements to interface with ERP software to research and design specifications to improve the overall Quote-to-Cash business process; 2) Understanding of data models and key tables in PeopleSoft Financial Modules; 3) Experience upgrading end-to-end financial implementations; 4) Understanding of setup tables, reporting and integration of all PeopleSoft Contract, Order Management, Inventory, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, and GL modules; and 5) Understanding of the change control principles and working in a cross site environment when making system changes and modifications.
