Massage Therapist - Female - Part-time

• Provides a variety of massage services including but not limited to Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and related spa body treatments such as loofa scrubs and body wraps. Also performs duties related to the cleaning, stocking, providing amenities and guest service throughout the Health Spa and .
• Performs professional massage and body treatments.
• Use courtesy when dealing with guest and other employees.
• It is the responsibility of the massage technician to help maintain the appearance of the treatment rooms, locker, shower, vanity, spa and fitness area; and the fitness equipment.
• Insured the guest/client is properly draped at all times.
• Always greet guest by name if possible.
• Read appointment list carefully and report to proper room assignment in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper treatment room set-up at the end of each treatment including the end of shift.
• Keep all massage stations properly stocked.
• When greeting clients always ask if there are any areas of sensitivity of health problems you should be aware of.
• Determine if clients has had a massage previously.
• During massage, voice should be kept low.
• After treatment. Massage Technician must show client to proper area and offer beverage.
• Any noticeable bruising must be pointed out to the client before massage is performed.
• Only perform massage on client of the same sex.
• When not performing massage, the massage technician must be willing to assist Spa Coordinator or Attendants with office duties, inventory, cleaning sandals, lockers, or any other area of Spa; transport soiled and dean linen to and from laundry.
• Report any repairs or supply needs to Spa Coordinator or Spa Supervisor.
• Report any injuries to employees or guest immediately to proper company official.
• Train new employees in specific duties
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and in service training programs.

Perform others duties as needed.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous spa, health club or massage experience preferred. Minimum of 150 hours of certified massage training or equivalent experience.
• Must have Nevada/Clark County Massage Technician License; National Massage Certification.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have good English communication and in good physical condition with knowledge in physiology and anatomy.
• Must posses excellent massage and touch techniques.
• Must by self motivated and a team player.
• Must be able to move up to 100 lbs. and a wide range of motion.
