OurFurnitureClerical is responsible for providing clerical support to the Furniture & Bedding Operation. Contacts customers and verifies merchandise with paperwork and RDS. Communicates with the Delivery Service to resolve in-home customer related issues.

Key Accountabilities:

Balance physical inventory to RDS system reports by sku research and resolve all discrepancies.
  • Work with store; warehouse MCCS, vendors and merchant organizations to research and resolve sales check, stock, and transfer issues.
  • Coordinate and facilitate RTV pickups.
  • Prepare reports, tabulate data and publish findings to Network.
  • Process credits and returns for customers
  • Create and receive transfers.
  • Process and maintain sales checks for CPU/takes/delivery, and shippers
  • Process paperwork necessary to complete tasks including debit processing, vendor compliance, invoicing, delivery tracking, etc.
  • Answers phones, field and resolve inquires from customers, sales associates, and 3PL delivery carriers, maintain customerfiles including Customer Care log and follow-up calendar.
  • Process sales check updates accurately and timely. Audit Driver manifests for pre-processing and schedule in home service for customers.
  • Process items for UPS shipment to customers or vendors.
  • Completes RTV paperwork, liquidation documentation, markdown allowance and submits for processing.
  • Reconciles vendor correspondence and process necessary adjustments for corrections.
  • Enters vendor chargeback's, in home chargeback's and second time delivery chargeback's on the EXO system for workroom repair.
  • Any other function management deems essential
  • Maintain safe work environment
  • Receiving of all parts for customers
  • Screen work orders for upcoming appointments, and verify they are valid
  • Completion of combined delivery report, waived delivery fees
  • Scheduling vendors and jobbers for clinics
  • Respond quickly and professionally to customers
  • Contact customers andvendorsto set and confirm deliveries
  • Verify and generate paperwork and update systems
  • Field /resolve inquires from customers, sales associates and customer service
  • Provide clerical support
  • Adhere to all safety practices, for your safety and the safety of others

Demonstrated customer service skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customer service, sales associates and delivery services.
  • Contact is primarily via telephone.
  • PC or computer system experience including knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependability
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexibility in work schedule
