We are currently seeking a talented, full-time Digital Service Designer for an exciting new team in Minneapolis MN. You will be vitally involved in shaping and building digital experiences from concept to delivery, and beyond. This position offers the opportunity to join an emerging department and work on new technology and digital health applications that dramatically improve the security, simplicity, speed, efficiency or experience of health care.  We're searching for that unique person that not only has the requisite technical design skills, but also a passion for truly making a difference in improving our healthcare system!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate best-in-class digital user experience skills and capabilities


• Participate in developing user experience needs, goals, and strategies


• Collaborate closely with Service designers and UX/UI designers to translate a company's vision into high quality, compelling products using design principles


• Develop minimal viable products focusing on the latest web/mobile technologies that are readily available to support in-market customer testing and validation


• Create sketches, interaction flows, mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes


• Design the web front-end for company products


• Take complex issues and simplify them into easy to understand constructs and visuals


• Excellent design skills in print and digital


• Ability to research and understand a concept and then simplify the visual to the target audience


• Inform and influence digital strategy and share accountability for the results


• Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business


• Interpret business metrics and customer feedback to make rapid, continuous improvements to solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Interaction Design or other Design related field


• 5+ years of digital design/creative development experience


• Driven by compassion, empathy and an ability to care about and connect deeply with others


• Ability to put members needs at the center of business processes and decisions


• Finds success through service to others


• Design-led thinking and ability to build from the ground up; creative problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite


• Previous experience managing product in Agile work teams and working collaboratively with UX/UI designers


• Involvement in professional associations and other skill building activities


• Previous experience and demonstration of delivering significant, differentiated & unique business value; with a compelling ‘wow-factor'


• Previous experience in cloud service delivery


• Strong knowledge and application of some of the following: HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, SEO, CQ5, semantic HTML, UX process/terminology, separation of content/design/behavior layers, mobile development practices with regard to HTML/CSS within a native environment, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, SQL, Apache PHP, ASP.NET, Ruby
