Our Home Instead Senior Care office is looking for a caring, compassionate and honest person to serve as our Weekend Coordinator. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to earn some additional income while helping seniors in our community. The candidate will work from home, coordinating the weekend schedules and handling issues that arise for our CAREGivers and clients on an as-needed basis. All interactions must always be handled in a professional manner and dependability is a must! All required training will be provided.

The hours for this position are Fridays starting at 4 p.m. through Monday morning at 9 a.m., alternating weekends. Applicants should live in the Southeast Allegheny area (South Hills, Munhall, Homestead, Elizabeth, etc) so they can easily respond to clients' needs.

Weekend Coordinator duties include:
  • Picking up the on-call phone at the Pleasant Hills office Friday afternoon and returning it at Monday morning
  • Answering all calls that come in during the weekend
  • Using CAREGiver roster to fill call-offs
  • Providing service to clients that we are unable to find a fill-in for
  • Checking voicemail multiple times daily
  • Communicating client inquiries and other issues to the office staff
The Weekend Coordinator is also invited to work as a CAREGiver during the week. We have a wide variety of open shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekends and weekdays.  A vehicle is required and you must have a valid PA driver's license. We love CNAs and retired LPNs/RNs to apply!
