Part-time Medical Biller

I am currently conducting interviews on my clients behalf for a PART-TIME Medical Biller. Only candidates strictly looking for part-time work will be consider. Qualified candidates must jave medical billing experience, preferrably with HMO and Medicade experience. Below are additional responsibilities:

Will be responsible for billing, working with denied claims, and collections. Ensures accurate and timely billing of claims. Performs follow-up on open insurance claims and balances. Monitors, researches and resolves unpaid, rejected and denied claims. Initiates and answers correspondence for claims resolution with insurance carriers and updates patient accounts as necessary. Identifies and investigates claim formatting issues
