Join our team of growing sales professionals at Dress District! We're getting ready for the busy prom season and we're looking to fill both part and full-time positions of Sales Associate and Register for locations at the First Colony Mall in Sugar Land, TX and at the Deer Brook Mall in Humble, TX. At Dress District, we house a large selection of formal evening wear. We specialize in selling high fashion dresses for formal red-carpet type events such as prom, balls, celebrations, quinceaneras and black-tie events. Check out some of the gowns we sell at www.DressDistrict.com.

Our stores are seasonal and pop up around prom and homecoming seasons, operating anywhere between 3 to 9 months and our website is always open!

At Dress District, we are known for providing clients with the Dress District Experience which not only entails having the largest up-to-date selection of dresses and accessories, but also for going above and beyond providing excellent customer service in a fun and friendly environment. Our clients rely on us to be up to date on fashion trends and knowledge. Therefore, we train and equip our employees with the right tools for maximizing their potential in the fast-pace world of fashion and sales. We provide training to team members by developing skills in sales, customer service, and fashion. Our entry level associates earn $9/hr.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS and QUALIFICATIONS

Desired Qualifications:

- Retail experience, customer service or sales experience (Helpful but not required).
- Ability to recommend outfits and make clients feel good (training provided).
- Comfortable with high volume of face-to-face client interactions.
- Outgoing, extroverted and friendly personality.
- Some knowledge of different women's dress styles, outfit and color coordination (Training provided).
- Ability to multitask effectively in occasionally stressful situations, at times handling a high volume of clients while providing support for team members while maintaining professionalism and upholding a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Maintains an organized floor set and shoe display.
- Comfortable receiving constructive criticism and job performance analysis from management.
- Trustworthy, Punctual, and Reliable.
- Knowledge of red-carpet fashion including dress cuts, styles, and fabrics (will train).

Description:

The SALES ASSOCIATE is responsible for greeting and engaging customers tactfully, listening to customer needs, giving customer's feedback, making suggestions and recommendations, assisting customers when trying on dresses, suggesting shoes & accessories, providing assistance and support to coworkers, familiarizing themselves with the floor set (visualizing where things belong), and maintaining a clean and organized floor-set. Responsible for ensuring mannequins are properly clothed with matching limbs and accessories.

Responsible for managing the busy fitting room area. Focuses on assisting customers in the fitting room and maintaining and organizing the fitting room and go-backs. Ensures a seamless customer transition from the fitting room to cash-out. Other duties include loss prevention (reducing damage and theft), handling go-backs, pairing shawls and corset strings to dresses aka playing dress detective. Associates also assist customers getting in and out of dresses with the aim of reducing damage to dresses and providing excellent customer service.

PAY RATE: $9/hr
