Description

Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers that involve the shipping and receiving of finished goods and production supplies as well as the inventorying and storage.

Position Shift and Schedule

This is a full time permanent position that will work on our 3rd shift but does require the flexibility to work various shifts depending on the business needs (vacation or leave coverage). Our 3rd shift typically starts at 10:00pm and our Warehouse Supervisors can expect to work an average of 50 hours per week based on business needs.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the warehouse.
  2. Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  3. Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
  4. Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
  5. Schedule and manage warehouse team members within labor and budget while meeting the demands of the facility.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
  7. Monitor and enforce all safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.
  8. Ensure all departmental equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, racking, and floor maintenance equipment, is properly maintained and inspection practices are followed.
  9. Demonstrate good foresight, teamwork, and possess a thorough knowledge of the distribution operation.
  10. Efficient subject matter expert in SAP warehouse management and RF technology to problem solve and train colleagues as needed.
  11. Maintain Kronos timekeeping and attendance records.
  12. Manage and facilitate employee and management relationship within the guidelines of the labor contract and company policy.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
  • 2 years analyzing data associated with processes, identifying opportunities, and providing recommendations for improvement
  • 2 years of experience with Occupational Safety Regulations
