Overview:
Researches and provides financial analyses to assess the impact of various corporate projects and transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation , working capital and investments.
Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends. - Completes detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for management and recommends action or change for assigned projects.
- Provides assistance to departments in the formulation of their budgets. Reviews departmental actual expenses versus budget. Issues monthly variance statements.
- Assists in the development of business policies and performance measures.
- Conducts special financial and business related studies as requested.
- Responsible for all aspects of complex projects that are broad in nature.
- Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Typically has a degree in finance with two to four years of professional experience.
- Must have expert level abilities in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Must possess strong analytical skills.
- Must be curious, creative and inquisitive.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and strong interpersonal skills.
