Our client located near Farmingdale, NY is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for their company!

The primary responsibility for this position will be to assist the payroll manager in record keeping and payroll processing activities. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Processing payroll by preparing payroll batches, time import, payroll preview and final payroll register.

  • Process new hires, terminations, changes in 401K deductions, relocations, garnishments, etc.

  • Prepare monthly certified payroll reports

  • Maintain documentation to support payroll transactions

  • Obtain timesheets and approvals from managers

  • File payroll documentation

  • Work cohesively within the department and upper management to resolve any issues



    Requirements:

  • MUST have previous payroll experience

  • Union and Certified payroll experience is a huge PLUS!

  • Experience with SAGE300 and/or Timberline highly preferred

  • Excellent time management

  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail

  • Ability to follow instructions

  • Excellent communication skills



    Salary: $40K - $58K contingent upon experience.
